We provide electrical installation, maintenance, and repair services. All work is subject to availability and may require site inspection.

Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are estimates unless confirmed in writing. Prices may change due to site conditions or additional work. Any changes will be discussed before proceeding, where possible.

Deposits

Jobs over $1,000 require a 30% deposit before work commences. If material costs exceed 30% of the quoted price, full material costs may be required upfront. We reserve the right to request a deposit for any job at our discretion.

Call-Out Fees

A call-out fee may apply and will be advised at booking.

Emergency & After-Hours Work

We offer emergency call-outs outside standard business hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays). Higher rates may apply for emergency or after-hours work. Availability may be limited, and response times cannot be guaranteed during peak periods.

Site Access & Safety

Safe and clear access must be provided. We may refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise. Progress payments may apply for larger jobs. Late payments may incur additional costs, including recovery costs.

Cancellations

Minimum 24 hours’ notice required. Call-out fees may apply for late cancellations or no-shows.

Materials & Deposits

Materials purchased for your job are non-refundable. Deposits are non-refundable only for materials already purchased. The remaining deposit may be refunded at our discretion.

Ownership of Materials

Materials remain our property until paid in full.

Customer-Supplied Materials

We are not responsible for faults caused by customer-supplied materials.

Existing Electrical Issues

We are not liable for pre-existing faults or non-compliant wiring. Any required fixes will be quoted separately.

Delays

We are not responsible for delays outside our control (e.g., suppliers, weather, access issues).

Damage

Minor damage (e.g., plaster/paint) may occur during work. Repairs are not included unless agreed.

Workmanship & Warranty

Work is completed to Australian standards. Manufacturer warranties apply. Does not cover misuse or third-party work.

Liability & Insurance

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law remain. Ezy Electrical Melbourne is fully insured for public liability up to $10,000,000, providing coverage for accidents or damage caused during work.
